Tatebayashi International Association

 

Maroochy City, Australia became sister cities with Tatebayashi in 1996, and since then the friendship has deepened through visits by junior high school students and artistic exchanges. In 2008 Maroochy merged with other cities to become Sunshine Coast City. The International Association has conducted exchanges by assisting with celebrations and events and sending citizens’ delegations to visit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tatebayashi became a friendship city with Konzan, China in 2004, and has held junior high school sports exchanges and artistic exchanges. In addition to sponsoring visits by citizens’ delegations, international understanding is promoted through host families for visiting children..
